Faculty of Classics
I am a Research Fellow at Peterhouse. I work on Ancient Greek and Roman historiography and political thought (especially Thucydides). I studied for a DPhil at St John's College, Oxford, titled ‘The Language of Revolution: A study of language change during stasis in Ancient Greek and Roman thought’. Before that, I read Ancient and Modern History at St John's College, Oxford (2015-2018), and then I was the Michael Von Clemm Fellow at Harvard University (2018-2019). I am currently looking at ancient theories of the mixed constitution.
